Reward

Ecclesiasates 9:9 Live happily with the woman you love through all the meaningless days of life that God has given you under the sun. The wife God gives you is your reward for all your earthly toil.

So basically this verse is saying, (this is my opinion obviously) that as a gift/treat/reward for going out everyday being a provider, that God gave me to Scott...

When I read this today, I emailed him this verse and asked him if he saw me as a reward, or a pain in his rear.  Ha ha, of course, but there was a bit of seriousness in my asking.

I do very much want to be a woman Scott looks forward coming home too.  Not a nagging hag who fusses, whines or complains most of our evenings away.

Since I read this verse, it has been on my mind.

I want to behave/act like a reward, gift and treasure.  And be a wife that my husband enjoys being around, living with, loving and caring for.

Being successful in this is my keeping my heart and mind open to my heavenly Father, all day long.  Allowing Him to guide and direct me, not just in my role as wife, but in every area of my life.
